Once one of the most beautiful castles in Slavonia, which was left derelict for years and was saved from complete destruction by the Virovitica – Podravina County, who first bought it and then applied its renovation and conversion into a Visitors' Center for financing from the European funds.
The reconstruction of the Janković Castle is a project of the Virovitica-Podravina County, worth almost 40 million kunas, of which the non-refundable grants of the European Union amount to 33 million kunas.
